ROGUELIKE - sandbox -FIRST PERSON SHOOTER made in unreal engine 5

This game is a sandbox style shooting game, which focuses on player expression and flexible playstyles.

We were 3 game designers collectively working on different aspects of the game's design and contributed to the game's overarching design flow and the gameplay direction.

I was responsible for the Bullet Crafting System, Elementality and had significant responsibility on identifying and catering towards various playstyles.

This was a student project and a part of our curriculum for the master's course at ENJMIN-CNAM. The goal was to create a vertical slice of a AAA game in a team of 13 students.

Being a sole game designer on this game for the most part, I got an opportunity to work on all the aspects of the design and got to know the inside outs of the production and working of the game.
Some of my tasks included:

Level Design. Studying user data and making suitable balancing changes to the level design.

UX Design. Understanding new feature requirements and designing appropriate UI and UX for gameplay and non-gameplay elements.

Narrative Design. Learning the latest changes to the IP's lore and finding creative ways to incorporate them into the game's narrative.

Economy Design. Carefully monitoring the KPIs and making intricate adjustments to the in game currencies helping the game's F2P nature.

Running 'Games as a Service'. Observing user data, studying it and designing appropriate solutions to improve the ARM, Engagement and ARPPU of the game.

f2p casual game based on the sport of cricket at reliance games

Working in a team of 2, the objective was to revamp this game and build upon it's current design to utilise it's complete potential to fill a hole in the demanding market.
This project required in depth study of the sport, staying updated on it's current trends, the fan base and the major championships worldwide.
Some of my tasks included:

Designing a new game mode. A new dynamic game mode which can be configured according to the real-world tournaments.

UX and UI Design. Renovating this game required a fresh functional UX design which will cater towards a richer experience flow.

Economy Design. Creating a new currency and meshing it with the game's current economy whilst designing new avenues for monetisation.

Running 'Games as a Service' and Balancing. Designing live-events for the new game mode and monitoring the KPIs to improve ARM, ARPPU and Engagement.

tactical drone based f2p mid-core game at reliance games

Drone: Shadow Strike 3 is a bird's eye view tactical shooter game, where the player does not directly interact with the world and the level except shooting the enemies on it.
The game intially had asynchronous multiplayer with guilds & leaderboards system for competitiveness.
The challenge was to introduce a new synchronous PvP game mode which will leverage the game's current gameplay infrastructure with minimal costs and efforts.

I brainstormed and successfully pitched the concept for an 'Arms-Race' PvP game mode. I further assisted in setting the base of the Gameplay Design for this game mode.

Monster Trucks Racing is a 3D racing game based on Monster Trucks movie released by Paramount Pictures Studios.

My objective was to study the metrics and analytics for the individual levels of the game, make modifications to the level design where necessary or design new complete levels.
​
The task of level design also required me to carefully understand the systems design, the editing tools and the balancing of the vehicle roster in the game.
